I. CHALLENGES
Abusive use of the parking lot during the opening hours
• Use of the parking by non-clients
• Not enough parking spaces for the customers
Empty parking lots at night
• As the store is closed, the parking lot is empty while there is a lack of parking spaces in the streets
No income generated
• The space remains empty while the demand for parking is present
II. SOLUTIONS
Thanks to the installation of the BePark access system, Delhaize was now able to:
Control access to parking lots
• Only Delhaize customers and BePark users have access to the parking lot, so the spaces are put to good use.
Share the use of the parking lot
• Local residents now have the possibility to rent unused parking spaces via the BePark application.
Generate additional income
• Previously unused parking spaces are now available and rented by local residents and therefore represent a regular income for the company.
