I. Context

With several offices spread across the country, Daoust wanted to find a way to centralize the management of parking at some of their locations where parking for their staff was not always easy.

II. Challenges

Whether it was controlling access for the mobility team or allowing employees to easily reserve and release their parking spaces, Daoust needed to revise its parking management. A primary challenge was the lack of centralized parking solutions, which made the urban mobility experience sometimes chaotic for its employees. Being clients of different parking operators meant that the decision-makers on mobility issues at Daoust had to deal with various contact persons. Additionally, employees had different ways of accessing parking, depending on the operator.

III. Results

We managed to meet Daoust’s parking needs by finding 45 spaces across 8 different sites, thereby facilitating employee mobility in Antwerp, Charleroi, Nivelles, and Brussels.

By centralizing all parking-related matters at these 8 sites, Daoust can now offer its employees a convenient parking solution close to their workplace. This has considerably simplified the task of the mobility team, which now communicates with a single contact person. With the parking management software, the administrator can easily assign various types of access, which is practical for visitors to Daoust’s different branches. With digital access via smartphone, Daoust employees can now easily access the different parking areas, making the use of badges obsolete.

Thanks to BePark, Daoust has been able to implement a parking policy tailored to the diverse access needs of different profiles within the company, including 8 bicycle spaces complementing the 45 car spaces. We now maintain a reactive and proactive relationship whereby we suggest on the one hand new parking spots when these open close to a Daoust office, and on the other hand, Daoust decision makers come back to us when in need of new spots.
